Thanks Darren, I have seen the ones in Jackson too! I liked these with all of the lichen and aging process. Glad you liked them, I try to such as much as I can out my front door and around my property at $4.20 a gallon. Also try to keep camera in the truck when I can.

Mitra, my neighbor only uses them for ornamentation and a chipmunk family lives inside the pile. He feeds birds and has a cool cactus garden with plants he has transplanted to his yard. He is an animal whisperer and many critters stay near his yard for food. thanks for the comment and have a great weekend.

Great photo and textures of these antlers Stan! I would think it would make a beautiful chandelier if they would have been preserving them. :) I wonder what they would do with these now? Perhaps use them as feeds for animals (?)

Thanks Darlene, I appreciate your view and comment. This is a crop of a fairly large stack in my neighbors yard. Just liked the way the colors of lichen stood out from the horns.

Me too! I thought that they nade a good abstract with out driving to Jackson. We have a lot of shed horns around here and nearby. I usually sell mine if I find enough.

My neighbor likes to collect any thing animal related and feeds the birds as well. Makes for a nice ecosystem

Thanks Julie, my neighbor feed the bird and collects anything wild. Has a turtle pond, Raven feeders and scatters bird seed profusely.also decorates yard with wild material. I had permission for the shot. i liked the colors of the lichen on them
