Noooooooooooooooooo you Crazy man :)) No falling from the sky - There are sooo many of these beautiful Rock's all along the coast I think because the water is sooooo wild here and the tides are so radicle there are more than usual - but this is also a guess on my part -

You should definitely see the NW coastline - it is ALLL Breathtaking - and I don't even care for the mild climate we have - I like HOT and tropical weather by choice BUT the beauty I am surrounded by helps a lot :))

Thank You for the informative comment ...I think that SEASTACKS is a better name for them - but they aren't all named Haystack - just 2 I know of off the Oregon coast- here in Lincoln City and the other in Cannon Beach - You ought to take a photo tour out here ... you would love it if you like the coast :))

Hi Michele, This is a beautiful view with the sun at this angle to light the rock. The blues are nice too. Well done. A friend of mine who conducts photo tours of this area calls these rock SEASTACKS. BILL

It would be interesting to stay out on that rock I can believe this -lol!!!
There are both surfers , and fishing boats at different times so apparently lots of fish in the sea to view - if you know what I mean -hahaha !!!

Always loved your images of HAYSTACK ROCK and this one is really gorgeous ... alone in the close distance serenaded by the ocean, (like the slight waves) and wonderful sky and its colors and formations and colors ... so clear and outstanding image ... lovely textures on it !!!
