About The Assassin first kills with a lethal saliva, then consumes the prey, (appears to be a small wasp,) by sucking out its juices. They appear to be able to take on prey larger than themselves.

Thanks, Victoria! I think there is more of an illusion of dof by trying to keep a plane of focus parallel to the insect. When I shoot at those small f stops, such as f/32 or even f/45, I lose a lot of quality due to diffraction. In post processing and sharpening I can compensate to a degree. So, dof is a problem for me, too!
