Joe,
Thanks for showing the changes. the tight crop may not have work, for it took away from the flow of the drapes, especially on the lower left. Thanks for taking the action and I am glad that you left the original intact.

I really like the picture. Here are few of suggestions for improvements: the colors are washed out and slightly dark; Maybe the compression has resulted in loss of detail and sharpness. I would also remove some of the extra space on the sides of the image (especially on the left side) that distract from the windows.
