Not abstract Harry, actual colours. The blue area is a glass plate over the foundation stone. It is lit with some kind of under glass fluorescent light. The gold colour is the late afternoon sun on a cream coloured brick. The light in the cathedral is quite wonderful in the afternoon and I am told the window placement allows different parts of the interior to shine throughout the day.
I'm going to revisit the cathedral one day soon to get some shots of the area around the main altar as it was undergoing repair work when I was there. I'll go early so I can see the effects of the morning light

This is one of your first abstract images. I like the blue light in the center in relation with the sepia color around it. Architecture is fine.
