I like the idea of a post to frame your pooch (who looks suspiciously like the lovealbe golden retriever breed!) but in this case the slant of the post and the contrast between dark post and very light dog it seems to feel awkward. On most of it's body the light is really nice, but the side of the face / nose is blown out. Try to meter of the lightest part of the dog and that way you'll have all the fur exposed properly. Love the surrounding... the bg wall is a complimentary colour and the hardwood floor makes this look very comfortable. Can't wait to see more!
