Yeah, I'm on board about the crop but I think its a great image. I love the detail and the slightly subdued color. Best part is the way you caught the illumination through the candle. Very nice work.

Hi Eric, Nice picture. Almost a decisive moment. I, like the others, would have liked to see the edges of the holder, but perhaps that wasn't possible. You say you spot metered. What did you meter on and how did you place those values? Great shark also.

It does appear to be lit, which is kind of cool eric.
I agree with the previous comment about the cropping of the image, but it appears to me the candle was not straight in the holder. When I first looked at the image I thought the camera was tilted.
I love the sparkles of sunlight on the glass!

Excellent timing. It does give the illusion that the candle is lit. I am not sure about the tight cropping of the candle holder. I would like to have seen it all.
