This whole series is a very good representation of what you set out to do. I think the dark sky helps create a foreboding feeling, entirely appropriate for this photo.

ciao andrea,
la foto ha un bellissimo tono, perde un po' di qualità il cielo, ma neanche tanto, mi piace il taglio, forse troppo cattivo a sinistra sul campanile e un po' troppo a destra sulla finestra, un paio di gradi in più avrebbero eso meglio il contrasto tra architettura e cielo. molto bella la nuvola sul fondo del campanile.

The dark sky above the cloud detracts from this image. But you captured the sense of dilapidation well.
