Thanks guys, I was surprised at how well the lighting worked out, it was from some form of tungsten work light off to the right as well as a little fill flash from a 420EX with stofen diffuser, colours thanks to a circular polariser for all those that like niggly little details.

This one is pretty cool man! The colors are very rich and the overall photo is very crisp. Your comp here is very nice. I really like the colors here for some reason. Just looks really good and it is rare that you see that kind of color when photographing from a valve pit ;)

I agree about the great composition! I love the different elements, including the man "above." I also really like the skin tones you were able to get with driller. The clarity of his face is great also. I like the DOF you used. The elements are all in place. Perhaps it would have been interesting to have the drill more in focus, but I like it as it is. Good job!
