Thankyou! :-)) Well, that green thing, I think it's just a part of the tree's pattern and with same consistence as the tree. This is not a tree we have in Sweden... I took it in a butterfly house that was really warm and same climate as in the rainforests. Or I might be lying now... I can't remember if it was rainforest... perhaps it was a warm exotic forest somewhere else. Anyway, touching it felt the same as touching a "normal" tree, it's just the look of it that is so strange.

Amazing shot Kriss with good colours and composition never seen a tree like this. Whats the green stuff? I can see it's a mouth in your Big Hug now but initially it does look like a cyclops from Greek mythology.

This was really a good moment to take a shot of this doubtless fascinating tree. You amde so much brilliant picture of insects, I start to think the telling of your phobia was just a joke, wasn't it? ;-))) You like them very much, come on Kris...
Thank you for your kind words during the last weeks...I am also happy to be back...
I hope you enjoy your job furtheron...
Regards, Uwe

Yikes! Don't like that fly. But the "Silktree" is fascinating and the fly does establish a sense of scale. Now please pass the fly swatter.

Strange name of that tree, excellent compocition, great the fly is there, it make the torn in perspective, great light. ( for mig minder det mere om bugen på et dyr med masser af patter, drejet 90 grader):- )) Hope you understand that.

veramente molto originale. Ottima macro, ma ciò che più mi colpisce sono le spine della pianta sulla quale è posata la mosca. Che pianta è? ---- really very original. Good macro but what more it strikes me they are the thorns of the plant on which the fly is staid. What plant is it?
