Hi Harlan:

I noticed a European version of Carhenge -- I think with Renaults or maybe Fiats -- at Parc Rene Vivian (sp?) off Quai Montebello in Paris a couple of years ago. Because of the location, it was possible to photograph the henge with Notre Dame in the background, and at the time it made me think that a interesting project might be to create PS carhenges in from of famous landmarks. Anyway, great fun -- although you guys certainly have a different color scheme for "Fall" than we do in New England. Best -Jim

Modern art can be sometimes very amaziong and effective (seen unique works at Biennale in Venice ) and offering gorgeous opportunities for the good eye of photographers... ciao Harlan.

The 50s (80s?) pastel colors increase the sense of absurdity of these odd objects in this natural setting. The harsh sunlight emphasizes this.
