T; first, thanks for the very interesting background on this subject, and being a retired Forest Soil Scientist with a strong background in geology, I actually pretty well understand your technical description. This obviously is a beautiful and special place to you. It's nice to have places like that. You've done a wonderful job of capturing this particular rock formation. The colors are saturated, the composition excellent, and the sky very complementary. Thanks for sharing the story of this place-- I've learned a bit more about Brazil-- and the photographer. Cheers. O Brasil tem realmente locais de extraordinária beleza. Obrigado pelo seu comentário esclarecedor. Aqui na Net não acabamos por não ter a noção real da verdadeira cor das paisagens e dos objectos. Mas às vezes quando vamos aos locais (Ilhas Fiji por exemplo) verificamos que as cores são mesmo aquelas que aparecem nas fotos, prospectos turísticos etc. Suponho - e se calhar é mesmo assim - que aqui estamos peerante a reprodução muito apoximada da realidade.

Poderá ser ligeiramente(só ligeiramente) fora do seu habitual, mas está cá tudo; um excelente céu, as cores com a marca do mestre, e até se pode dizer que continua a ser uma paisagem.A qualidade é a de sempre.
