Hi, Micky! I do like really this picture! Very beautiful and successful combination of colours, really! My best wishes! Alexey. Thank you for comment! The most useful for me in PS and some Receptions used by me: For non-original background- of course, the Subject must be cut out lengthways of contour, you choose background at new layer under the subject layer and then use "FILM GRAIN" filter. Why? If you'll use some gradient or others, as result you'll get some visual boundary lines of colours or different levels of colour. After "Film G", you are able to correct the colour of background by Adjustments->Hue/Saturation options, please try. for Making some lighting and shadows sites of background I use "dodge" and "burn" tools with "soft brush" and low (in percents) exposure! After all I use "Gaussian blur" in filters! That's all! About sharpness! A lot of methods you can use! One of them: Duplicate the subject layer, try to use Unshap Mask, USM or "custom in others" filter, may me, not to explain how the last works :-), this filter you must use for bottom subject layer, then for upper try to use "Fill slider" or you can use "Erase" tools with low "opacity" and "soft brush" for some sites of image! Great colours you have found here, i just would have wanted little more sharpness, and that you could have cropped it little different, it would have been a perfect picture cropped into a square if you would have had all of the upper petals in it. Think about that next time that you get into the macro world.
