Great composition! , as Patricia said before, even the foot "adds a touch of reality and immediacy". great comment also. If people is worried about something that the composition might suggest (oh naughty minds!), I'm sorry about that. A good photo (and a good history), transcend everthing. This is true art.

I see what you mean about the lamp on the left... I don't do much photo shop.. so i usually leave things alone... I took one shot without my foot in it... and it wasn't nearly as strong a photo... thanks for all your comments... Dwight

wow- i'm adding this to my favorites.... this is amazing. i have no useful comments... i'mi in awe... the foot works, it may lend a creepier feel to the composition, but that creepiness works.

The foot makes it feel... well ... I dunno it leaves the impression that there was less 'innocence' about your encounter than you suggest. I guess that with the story behgind the photo that could make for something more seedy and shocking. But isn't thgere enough of that in him and his story as it is? I dont know... just an impression. Oh yeah .. small detail, lamp on the left could go / be burned down a little.

Gritty shot Dwight, as gritty as the story and the reality. Very effective story in your shot.

Excellent and very effective. The harsh direct light and the burned out light of the TV and lamp accentuate the mood which is so appropriate for the subject. Even the foot adds a touch of reality and immediacy. Very fine work.

frightening in some ways .. supurb image .. lee friedlander had a way of making images that "look" like this one .. i guess the tv in the back ground is something that reminds me of that .. but please forgive my even bring up another name, you certainly have your own look here ... excellent and mature eye ... your history is interesting too ...

Interesting photo. Scary story indeed. Good composition but I agree about the foot. It gives the image an even more sinister significance.

Great photo... scary story. Composition is good, but I would loose the foot on the right side. Made me feel differently about the photo then the story portrays. I really love your work though, keep posting them. What band were you in?
