Becky is dead on, the blue tint is pleasing, only one color thank god, but the fence kills the clutter intentions, it's overbusy. The point was made but the fense is like a bad wall in the way of the shot. Well, I see you only shot what was there, so in a way this is a journalistic/documentary shot or a record. 2ND THOUGHT Maybe a colored vers. would be so overdone as to be the way to go?
I have to admit that it does look a bit busy, but in my opinion only one object needs to be removed: the fence. It blocks the eye from traveling "in" to the photo and prevents one from really appreciating its depth. It also competes with the white tables behind it.
Did you duotone the photo to emphasize the chilly morning? I don't really have a problem with it, but I'm curious to know what this would look like with some warmer colours - golds and reds, for example.
A nice slice of street life and well composed too. Good job. :)
