I appreciate everyone for stopping by and commenting. I guess, Peta and Mister Ken counted all the patterns quite precisely.
I also appreciate Ken Williams for his useful suggestion to get this black glossy plate. This suggestion was made on a different site (photo.net) on a different purpose (to use for egg shots). But this pattern made by blinds on the plate attracted my attention immediately. Finally, I got lucky to capture almost exactly what I wanted.
Kamil and Mike, on one hand I agree with you that the symmetry here isn't perfect. On the other hand I'm not sure if it should be so precise, some lack of regularity sometimes works better. Just my guess, I maybe wromg. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions.

So much good preparation and balance and yet, I am drawn to the corner of your aluminum siding house through the window. Your print emphasizes so much of symmetry but the background does not support that. Keep everyting between the camera and the blinds, but try for a better image outside the window. Regards. -Mike

Vlad - Excellent composition. Patterns: I see reflections and refractions in the glass - refractions of the blinds through the wine glass and reflections off the plate into the glass; reflections in the plate of the window and from the glass; there are also reflections in the base of the glass of reflected light from the stem and bowl. :astly, I see something a formed image in the wine glass bowl that is not quite fully visible in the upper left of the window. One with better eyes than mine might see more. - Mister Ken

first of all I want to thank you for your comment on my picture "Autumn forest on the plateau" the grass definitely is NOT OVEREXPOSED, it is exactly the light color as I show it in this image. The color up on the plateau is really this light. The sky was overcast and NO sun. The colors are the real colors and there is NO need for manipulating nature's colors.
I like your "glass of water" image very much. Very well composed with beautiful brilliant colors and sharpness. Clean, inspiring photographic work. Well done.

Patterns...You have your nicely mowed grass lines, the siding on the house, the blinds, the pattern in the dish, the patterns reflected in the glass and the water within such as the sky, and ones I have just mentioned.
