The recent Northern Lights were awesome up here in Montana and I tried to capture them but failed. You did succeed and succeeded beautifully. Beautiful photograph!!

Nice capture of the northern lights.
To answer a question you asked on my picture the area was logged out about 90 years ago, now it is a nature preserve where the people are trying to let it grow back to its natural state. Some areas have all older trees this area has some of both. Thanks for asking, it is a great place to live next too

You're a lucky guy. I've lived in the North East of Scotland my whole life, and have never seen the northern lights, it mabye is once in a lifetime. It's all to do with plasma apparently. Good work!! Cheers.
