Ken, looking more closely at your gallery, I am even more convinced a close up on the reflection is a sound idea; Your image have a very original and creative approach, and I think the tire stands out a bit.
I love this photo! You have a magnificent eye for geometry, details, colour and composition. My compliments! Don't quite agree with Jaap's comment on the sharpness; but I'm curious what the thing in the upper left corner is....
