This is mystical. I think the tree on the right is very unique and makes the pic much more interesting than your average forest landscapey-type shot. If it weren't there at all, the shot would have balance, but not as much character. The colors in the foreground are vibrant. I really like what you've done here.

I agree with kim, this is a wonderful picture.... Love the colors of the foreground, sharp and vivid. and another whole dimension in the background.. the mist is adding mystery to the photo... great work

I think if the tree on the right was fog shrouded, this image wouldn't work as well as it does now. You captured the exact right moment to make all the elements come together nicely. Some suggestions: hike with a tripod. It can be a pain, I know, I just started this summer (but it's a good workout!) but you can then use slower film that will add saturation and more colour into your scene. Not all scenic shots need to be beautiful blue skies... I think you've got a good one here! Lots of mood!
