About Found this old house in the trees off the country road here in SW Manitoba.
It was a cloudy day and this old timer looked a little spooky. I played with the contrast and
any lighter, it did not look great. With all the help I have received from you folk, I was attempting to
be carefull about horizon but alas, I did it again. My left brain was off center. What do you think of the contrast, too dark?

Nifty shot. I'd say the contrast is fine. Any darker and the sky and ground would be awfully bright compared to the house. Have you tried any filters to darken the sky a bit? A #15 deep yellow might add a bit more contrast while darkening the sky at the same time. Just a thought. I'm also not sure if it's the tilt of the building or a bit of convergence I'm seeing esp. to the left side? Nice shot. I love pictures of old buildings.

Definitely not too dark. Some of the spindly trees in front are fading into the colour of the wood & a bit hard to distinguish.
This is another spooky one. You could convince me theres no inhabited houses left in Manitoba! H:)
