About I first experimented with long daylight exposures + moving subjects two weeks ago(it was a rainy Friday..).My favorite picture of that day is already published here in usefilm together with detailed technical information. Here is a less creative example of how I used the Hoya ND400 that day in order to get an almost 7 minutes exposure.I haven't tried this technique since then, but I plan to do it in the future. Thank you :-)

thank you :-)

Michali, i mounted the camera on a small Cullmann suction cup outside the car and controlled the exposure with a Nikon electronic cable release from inside the car.

thank you very much for your comments!

Very creative idea! How did you manage to keep the camera steady during the time you took the shot?
Well done,
Michalis

First off, yes, you are right, Kostas, i have to learn to not write so much junk when i submit my images. They should speak for themselves and you very sweetly reminded me of that in your comments about Broken Skies. Second, wow, i just began experimenting with ND filters and am stunned by the results i am getting. i haven't done anything THIS experimental, that's for sure but it's still a thrill to achieve gorgeously shallow depth of field at noon on a brilliantly sunny day! This is simply a wonderful experiment and the colors of the landscape are silken and beautiful. i'm going to go look for your favorite right now. I'll bet it's great...thanks for the inspiration. (oh and yeah, i have to put in my two cents like everyone else about shooting in the rain. i love shooting in the rain and it cost me a thousand bucks this year because i wrecked my camera, so please be careful!) Best regards: kat~
