Candid photo of the flower girl taken while the hired wedding photographer was shooting the formal photos of the couple. Shot on Oct. 25, 2003 in the Catskills.
Wow! What a wonderful mood with this photo...Excellent expression, not only from girl, but all photo as a whole. I was trying to do same correction, if you don't like it - don't mind...I don't want give you upset... Lena
I see what happened here. Photoshop's Auto Color function was a bit to cool. Here is what I get from the original scan of the transparency and fading the results of the Auto Color (zoomed in on the subject). There was no cutting or pasting done here. The only other edit was dust removal using the healing brush.
This is an interesting photo, but the figure looks as though she were cut from another picture and inserted into a new back ground. If you lower the color saturation and contrast on the model, she may blend more realistically into the background. Also, you could darken her face so that it's not so apparent that the model and the scene have differing light sources. A deeper shadow around the figure would help as well. Overall, though, the photo is attractive and it's position and color appealing. I love the rich fall tones.
