Great image, Ingrid! It works so well as an abstract that it can be rotated in any direction and still works! For example, I like the image when it's rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Congratulations!
I'd love to experiment with something like this, but I'm in Florida, so I'll have to think of having a transparent freezer made ... :>)
This is beautiful to me, Ingrid. It's in my favs, and if I was a rating-sorta-gal, I'd give it top marks.
I don't know if it would improve the image, but have you considered a side-to-side flip in photochop, so that it goes dark to light from left to right the way most people read? Just a thought - probably a silly one.
I really like this concept, and the image is striking. My only critique is that the left side seems too bright. But that is a minor point and it takes little away from the lovely pastel colors that belie the cold.
