oh, the black and white is such a better effect; the picture is much more dramatic. it's a great composition to begin with, and trying the change to black and white was a good choice. the detail and depth of field stand out most as the strong traits of the photo - good job.

well, I saw the thumbnail of the color version yesterday and didn't click on it, but this version of it grabbed my attention right away. I think the changes that have been made have turned this photo into something really great.

There is no doubt about your ability to challenge us about the perception that we have of our own images. "Less busy" was one important message that Margaret and you made clear to me and then the conversion to B&W... I have done this quite a lot recently, but this is one of the most satisfying attempts, thus far. Merci beaucoup, Marc!
