Rawabi, thanks for dedicating the Hawaii cat pic to me... for some strange reason the freakin' computer doesn't let me open it (tried about 20 times to no avail). I'm going back there tomorrow to say "Aloha" to the little guy. He looks pretty much like the twins, he would make a nice addition to your family, eh?

Thank you all for your comments :)
Special thanks to Gary for his suggestions and the time he spent trying to work on my pic, that's so flattering :).. i thought first about the tight crop, but without the rotating, but then again i changed my mind cuz i already saw one similar shot.. (and cuz i'm planning to do another version of eyes close up soon..) as for the rotating that's a nice idea.. never crossed my mind :)
Hanna, the kitty picture is SOOO CUTE! thanks for telling me about it :)

Thought it was a horse until I read the story (well I'm using one of the school computers right now, so the monitor is not exactly the very best... still I'm able to appreciate the image... nice close-up and good DOF)

This closeup shot is a very good idea. Let's see if we can crop this one even closer, and sharpen up the detail. Perhaps, too, why not flip the image left-right? I think it makes for a much better abstraction of the animal's eye and coat hair. What do you think?
