About I waited for a passing cloud to act as an N.D. filter to retain some detail of the Moon during this long exposure. I wish the planets had been lower in the sky but a rain front moved in and stopped play.

James,

Nice composition. On my way home that night, I was watching the two and was anticipating photographing them. They were much closer on my side of the planet. But, alas, as I got home and onto the roof, Venus just disappeared behind a cloud: the moon was already covered. I did catch the pair earlier this year.

The figure in the foreground with the flashlight (torch?) adds nicely to the image. Good work.

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing - we were all rained out here in Vancouver - so had no photo opportunity.

Very nicely captured. We, too, only had a breif glimpse of the spectacular celestial event. Thanks for sharing .
