I have to disagree with you Danish. She was doing her own business and I was taking pictures. It was not even supposed to be serious. She thought I was just playing with the camera. That's how she is. But thank you a lot for the comment. I shall ask my subject to pose more "normal" instead of being themselves! ;) just kidding. I'm greatful you wrote that. I'll try to be more sponeneus. BTW there are two photos of what you just saw. the other's called exhale. Since the girl in the photo asked me not to publish the photos after she saw the first, I didn't upload it. It's a 2 frame photo. inhale and exhale.
Thanks for the point on shamlu's photo as well.

Well the empty space is supposed to imply loneliness, I tried your suggested crop and I still liked this one better. The picture was taken in a cafe. Well a bit of space in front of her face would have made her look like waiting which i did not intend at all, but i agree that it could have helped the photo with its aesthetics. And I will read Douglas' comment for sure :) thanks

Very expressive shot, Ida, and good lighting. I find the middle of the photo a bit too black though. Have you concidered either cropping the image or panning a bit left? I think her "field of view" is blocked by the left edge.
On the other hand, the tonal range in her face is very good, though. And the "unusual" composition does increase the atmosphere of the photo.
