A monster?
Poor animal! I think this mantis is a pretty. The composition is original as you included part of your hand but I think a cropping of both left and right corner would look better. The shadow and the open spot on the right are a little distracting. Interesting foto. It's nice to see such a beautiful insect in close up

It's not easy to know who was afraid, the creature or I. It sems we were on friendly terms, neuther really afraid of the other.

Hi Rafi,
I love that Praying Mantis. It realy look like moster put of a Sci-Fi movie. I have only seen one two times in my life and smaller. But they are beautiful.

P.S. It comes out tht your ortographic mistake is a type of Orchid... You can see the meaning in Raameses picture... I pasted there the meaning... So, I learned a new word yestarday, and so did Raamses... hehehehe
