About	Right place, right time. I was on the way home when I noticed a cab jump the curb near me, and the driver fleeing. Smoke poured from under the hood. I called 911 after making sure any passengers had left (there were none) and FDNY arrived in less than one minute. They pried the hood open as I snapped (safely) away. Comments welcome.
