Cool picture! Very eyecatching and dramatic. You picked a really good contrast with the bush/ tree.

Simon,
Nice star trails. Was this one or two hour exposure? (I see a satellite trail in your photo...)
I have a few star trails in my portfolio.

Veerrrry long exposure. I had heard this could be done, but this is the first example I've seen. Good job.

Simon, you have the best star trail I have ever seen. I have tried but been foiled for 2 reasons 1 I live near the city { too much light} 2 Clouds appear or the lens fogs up. Must admit I was trying for a longer period, About 2 hours F 22 on infinity Through a tube to cut out that city glare. Your pic is so sharp.

Very cool! What was the actual shutter speed Simon? I would love to take a shot like this at some point.
