Sorry I would have made recommendations at the time of the post, but I had to run and posted rather quickly. I think the excess background at the top of the image doesn't really add to your photo. The background would be more of a positive factor if you were using it for a direct backdrop of the stamen and pistols of the flower, but you're not so the background just hangs there. As is you're kind of looking down into the flower a little bit. I'd like to see more of the sagging petals and use the lines of the petal to draw your eye into the center of the flower. A portrait format might have worked well even if the flower were not entirely in focus. I do like the idea of this image and it's great seeing another Mark II user on here. I hope that helps :)

It's a green little man with funny hat... but he lost his face in the storm! :-)) Beautiful Gerhard! Very good photo quality, wonderful details and colours, also so cute and funny seeing the "little man"!

Very sharp and lovely colors. The new cameras are getting better but you have to be a rocket scientist to operate them. Looks like you will get the hang of it real soon . Don.
