Very nice result! As sharp as a knife 
I like the idea of pushing to 400 the film ASA to allow a smaller apperture, but I can't understand why you chosed the so small f/22 in this photo. It seems to me that there is almost no DOF advantage using f/22 in this situation. But there is a great quality increase using around f/8 in almost all f/1.8 lenses, and doing so, you probably won't need to push the film ASA to 400, so the gray and red artifacts in the bottom of the picture wouldn't appear.

Great shot. I think it is a little too sharp. If you look at the stump you can see that light glow that over sharpining makes. Prob unsharp mask. Anyway, great comp and tones!
