Such an unworldly image. Excellent work. It allows us to enjoy a natural phenomon known to so few.

Aw! Frozen ice....) The lighting is excellent, as is the composition. Quite an unusual view, the unexpected tone and the very strong, crisp lines in the dunes. The only thing that I find distracting is the strip of grey between the dunes and the mountains near the horizon on the right. It breaks the composition from flowing gently over from the shades of blue in the foreground to the grey blue tones in the mountains. Other than that an excellent shot, very well captured (what else would I expect from the DX1...)
Cheers,
Hugo

classical and magnificent shot for the sand landscape, here the different blue levels are great as well as the light

Fantastic!!!!! so simple and engaging. Love the clean lines and tonal qualities your image exhibits. The fact that it has bluish tones really enhances the mood and intrigue. Cheers, Bartock
