yeah straighten up and fly right (and dont worry I do it all the time) perhaps a nudge in levels just to increase the saturation...

Nice subject and composition, and I like the misty effect over the sea. (Nits have been dealt with by previous comments).

Beautiful composition and subject. I think I would have tried to get inside the fence or cropped it out.

Hi Neil. Thanks for the help. I don't mind you recreating the photo as it helps me see what can be done. Huge Difference in the sky and colour. Thanks for all your help and advise.
Hear from you soon.
Greg

Predominantly you've boofed the contrast here Neil?
I was looking at I like how you've brought the drama out in the sky and hilighted a nice event below the lighthouse with the white patches beneath it.
You captured all these things Greg and I'm sure you saw them.
Very nice form in that slope too. I dont think any one would fault this on framing. Post production seems to be key.

Good shot with your new camera. I think it would be better if the horizon was not sloping, just my thoughts. Was in NZ last year, great place to go, lots of beautiful places for photos.

Hi Greg, first of all congrats on the new camera, hope you have lots of fun with it. Now to your photo... Yes it's a pity you didn't get the horizon straight, but with a new camera and the family there as well is wasn't going to be easy. This you can easily correct on the compi as i tried to do for you - hope you don't mind :) I played around with the levels as well. The crop is slightly different because you lose something when correcting the tilt. Best wishes - neil

This shot is framed perfectly...if only you'd straightened the horizon...
