About This is the general view with the housing invading the Historical buildings like Giza and the Great Pyramids as shown at right hand side of picture.
The local Government attempted to restrain unplanned constructions that were jeopardizing the site. They came up with the following sollution:
this wall seen here in front of the Giza ---Lion Head and paws Monument----and the access road attempts to put a stop on such fuzzy buildings in the same Context.

Image was scanned from the 10x15 photo using a ViewStation AS6E Artec flatbed.

Beautiful composition Regina...lovely tones, I like the addition of the wall, it may be new but it blends in very well, and I am glad steps have been taken to protect the ancient beauties....Gloria

Dear Ahmed,

Carmem Busko, another talented UF user, had sent me this through e-mail:

"Our loyalities are to the species and the planet.
We speak for Earth.
Our obligation to survive is owed not just to ourselves but also to that Cosmos, ancient and vast, from which we spring"

Dr. Carl Sagan

Do You agree with it?

Maa' Salama,
Regina

Thanks, Opal!
sorry i didn't make my self clear, i guess it
must be my lousy English knowledge and my Portuguese influencing me again to write the way we speak here!?! BLUSSSH

i KNOW both Your photos ARE in Focus and the lens You used were appealing... and created some Moody ambience and gave an Artistic look to each post, Dear!
what i meant about checking out Stephen Bowden's "'Moon'" sample, was because he had only the moon in his shot and guess he used some sort of telescope adapter to get it that way...
Your shot and his, are both DIFFERENT photographs of the same subject: The Moon!
Always sweet to check Your take on things, Opal...
i wanted, in a way, that You also met Steve's work who is a dear Friend to me, just like You are! ... knowing i trust his opinions and guidance, i feel free to ask away things my dad wants me to look up in his photograph manuals, instead of teaching with a smile on his face as i am attracted to his profession...
Ooops... guess i stook my foot in my mouth again!
Thanks for visiting and for leaving me Your sweet and always constructive Criticism, Opal.
PLEASE forgive my lack of touch and clarity to explain my thoughts and my pointing some other fellows's work as well, so we all have the same Friendly bonds... tied with healthy Comments and personal growth for each and every one here.
warmest regards,
Regi

This is a wonderful photo, I wish I could have been there also to see the pyrimids as you have seen them. The blue sky really shows off the structures, great capture..................Opal

Thank you for your nice comments about my photos

The photo of the moon was in focus, it was the humidity that had gathered on my lens. the photo of the flower is the same as the moon photo, I really think the foggy lens gives the photos a little more character and moodiness. Take a second look and tell me what you think

Hi Regina,
