This shows a contrast between the old way of obtaining power, the windmill, and the modern method of power distribution, the towers and high voltage lines on the right.

A wonderful picture of a water mill. Very well composed landscape image with brilliant colors and DOF. I wish there was NO powerlines and the mast on the right....but what can we do about it? Maybe someone has a good suggestion. Regards, Gustav

Great shot Teunis. Mooie opbouw en de watermolen springt er echt uit. Als je er een kaart van zou maken zou ik hem versturen naar een vriend in New York die helemaal gek is van molens.
Franz, there are too many to count I would say. Maybe we can ask the national windmill association (there is bound to be one).

I'm asking with Lori and Jim. How many mills do you still have (working) in the Netherlands? And your photo is once again a real postcard picture - excellent! Regards Franz

Very dramatic composition for this windmill shot, Teunis. With the high-power lines in the background you have a photo showing two types of technology. Regards, Jimmy
