Very beautiful closeup and details! Interesting with the insect... the fake wasp that is not a real wasp and can't sting!

Maybe the yellow colour is a tiny bit "dirty"? Just a feeling I get when I compare it whit the lighter and more "clean" colour in the frame.

An astonishing image. Quite original in framing, colouration, and content. A classic Spracklen.

Excellent Chris, love the composition and the framing - not sure if my eyes will recover before viewing the next photo though ;-)

I like it Chris, flowers are always a hit with me, throw in a bug and a great frame and I'm REALLY happy!

Good work Chris, go get some sleep now!
Lori :)

I enjoy this photograph, however I find the yellow framing distracting and takes my eyes from what should be the center and focus of the shot.

Nice macro, Chris, you caught the insect at the right spot to add to the composition.

Chris, you are my Hero;
when do you find time to take all these lovely shot I can admire every day?
I am worry about you cause I can NOT imagine what happen to you when you take some holidays and you will have lots of free time;
anyway, I like this shot; the only thing I miss is some more tender light on the flower
regards
Lukasz

I have a shot similar to this one Chris, if I remember well it is called Yellow center; here you add a jewel-shaped frame and the life touch wiht the insect creature; defintely it is better than mine in sharpness and colors and I learn always in watching your photos

I like the eccentric location of the flower's center. The little insect creature adds yet more interest, but the visual impact comes from the flower itself.
