Hi Teunis; this really is an outstanding photograph. The subject is unusual and composition and lighting are excellent. You've also managed to capture it "in its environment. Very nice my friend-- it's going into my favorites.

Teunis, you should get a higher pixel camera and make big images. your images are a such a delight People will buy.
Have you thought about opening a photo shop in Groningen.

I find this mushroom in on an old Beech .This tree is one where many from this fam lived
An Mushtroom crow in one or two days.You can walk to day and find never mushroom, the same way morrow and ther are many Mushroom.You must llok this year whre to find mushroom , than you go next year to the same place on the same time and you find again

teunis, very nice 'shrooms. i really like how they seem to be wet. love the composition although i think maybe a bit less dof would help them stand out more from the trees in the background. i also see something odd here that i can't quite figure out. there is a bit of digital noise in the top left corner. however, it seems to be restricted to the green background. a result of resizing, perhaps?
