Teunis, I think this is my favourite of the mushroom series! I love the effect of the mushrooms climbing the tree. It almost takes on an abstract meaning. Regds, Omar

Teunis, as I pressed the Add comment buttton my daughter (7 years old) had read what I had written and she said "no, Mummy, I was astonished", so I thought you would like to hear it straight out of the mouths of babes what your picture means to them.

My daughter just walked in and saw your image over my shoulder. She was amazed at the mushrooms growing on the tree. So you see my friend, you are not only teaching me something new but you are opening up young eyes to the beautiful world out there. Teaching them to look outside their own yard.

Teunis, the perspective and colors here are outstanding!!! Looks like a little elf could clinb right to the top on his ladder! Geez.. I found a couple growing out of a tree yesterday on my walk, had to stand on my tip toes to get the camera up high enough to shoot them, then they weren't this sharp. Now I'm ashamed to post them after seeing these! lol.. Great, great shot!
