Ciao Gino...guarda che buffo....questa bellissima foto che mi hai attaccato sotto è spuntata fuori solo stamani.
Infatti non avevo ben capito a cosa ti riferissi quando parlavi di affinità elettive....adesso comprendo, incredibile similitudine, ma come sai la cosa non mi stupisce.
Le affinità di pensiero e quindi anche di " vedere " tra noi tre, Dodi inclusa e soprattutto, non si fermano solo alla fotografia....e dunque va da sé che si facciano scelte a volte identiche.
Peccato per me per i seguenti motivi :
a) tu sei più bravo
b) Dodi " vede " molto più di me e di te messi insieme e dunque è la musa ispiratrice
c) io non ci vedo più e questo mi manda in depressione.
Detto ciò stampo un bel bacio alla famiglia Quattrocchi, grandi fotografi e sopra ogni cosa, grandi e veri amici.

Hi John, thank you so much for your kind comment.
I just read the embedded data on the camera to be precise : the picture was taken on June 6 2004 at 9.28 p.m. which, at that time of the year corresponds to the blue hour.
I waited patiently with the camera on tripod until the sun went down completely and the lights of the lamps along the river lit.
I was very lucky because there was absolutely no breeze at all and everything stood perfectly still.
To be sincere...this is one of my favorite pictures, one which comes out once in a long time...

semplice,pulita,essenziale,nonostante sia uno "smanettone" di PS,mi emoziono ancora quando vedo questi scatti così naturali,eccezionale il riflesso nell'acqua,hai saputo dosare il tempo necessario per far risaltare le luci dei lampioni..tutto molto ben fatto.complimenti.

SOOO nice to see another picture from you... I always enjoy your photographs. This is exceptional. That mirror-like surface of the water, just beautiful, and the absolutely straight line of lights across the center of the picture reflected as a great arch of lights! This is a really fascinating creation.

Hi Antonella, crisp shot, and beautiful tones. Taking this shot at dusk in stead of at night is a very good choice, it adds more interst and details to the town. The calm weather and the mirrorlike reflection is also a very nice touch. Very well captured, and a brilliantly calm and romantic atmosphere!

Delicata immagin notturna, c'e tutta la magia dell'imbrunire: le luci diurne si affievoliscono e spuntano quelle atrificiali, e' sempre un bel momento l'imbrunire, mi sembra che questa immagine le comprenda appieno.
