Great shot!

I usually shot in remote places and allways get permission. I keep a small portfollio of my work and gain access to all kinds of locations. I have been approached by law enforcement before and they once they see what I'm doing they are very supportive. Thanks for your interest.

Impressive image! I've also tried my hand at this, with variable results, using a MaxaMillion flashlight and battery pack to light up any foreground structures, but since 9/11 I'm hesitant to go lighting up buildings at night for fear of being arrested!
Best regards,
David

I love it. I love night photography because it is so challenging but I rarely do it because I dont have a good digital and I cant afford to buy emough film to learn from. But I find ways. I was wondering how u did the lighting on the structre, its so dreamy.

Excellent Jason, more than amazinggggggggg, i know this way in photography, actually I've tried it 2 days ago, but the result was really frustrating, I've set my camera to 10 min exposure, but it was always releasing the shutter after few seconds so i end up having nothing .. i don't know if i had to include something in the cadre that causing some light or what, as i was only aiming to the sky.
Creative indeed and lovely, Regards,

hi Jason,
your photo is a really nice startrail image, very well composed, lighted and shot. the impact of this picture would be greater,in my opinion,if it was uploaded bigger and sharper ;-)
