This woman is the leader of the women of the church in Kananga and she is such an amazing woman. We had an incredible language barrier between us, but we managed to be the best of friends while i was in africa. There was a strange and pleasant connection between the two of us and i will never forget her.
This is a superb portrait. It captures a very strong sweetness that is most engaging. I like its technical aspects as well. The composition is very good and the soft profile is a beautiful and effective element.
Hi Marie, Another good photo! I enjoy looking at these photos that you took in Africa. I obviously don't know this woman, but in the way you captured this moment, it appears that you are showing some of her personality. Good clarity in the eyes, combined with great DOF.
OK, I apologise greatly, normally my comments would be about your technical qualities, and the value of your photography. But there is something more important than photography to think about at the moment.
