This little island of ours Chris does indeed have some beautiful scenery. This format is sheer magic. By giving a lot of close foreground it has such depth and the horizon complies with 1/3 rule. As always, you have magnificent depth of colour. I can hear the water swishing through the pebbles.

Hi Again Chris-- saw the thumbnail and just had to open this one up. An outstanding vertical seascape, and they are difficult to do well-- wish I had taken it;>). I just love the looooong foreground lead-in as it gives the scene a great sense of spaciousness. I think this scene could also be cropped to a regular horizontal, or a square, but IMO you made the right choice here. The great depth of this photo is wonderful. Cheers. Craig

I have been gone for a bit from usefilm but it is funny how when I look at new photos.. the same people's photos always catch my eye.. This is an excellent image and beautiful landscape. But, what makes it so nice is its simplicity. The colors are excellent and the perspective is great... nicely seen and captured.. good work

Great variety of textures here Chris. I love the shoreline "lead in" to this photo. The exposure is perfect - nicely balanced light and great compositon. Were the birds were added with PS? Reason being, I think the photo is strong enough in content to stand on its own. Which ever way you have come up with another cracker here! My best, Patrick
