Ah, good point, artificial light, that must have something to do with it. I was just experimenting with the focus modes on this photo, i cant seem to get it out of auto, there doesnt seem to be a noticable difference when you focus in and out, maybe its me. Thanks for the comment Neil.
I can't say I've noticed the tendancy to yellow with the S5000 (although it does have a habit of intensifying the natural blue of a sky. Was that photo taken using natural or artificial light?
If you think it is messing with the natural colour it's worth using the Auto Levels feature in Photoshop Elements. It's surprisingly good at changing the colour/light to what the human eye percieves is correct.
Many thanks for your comments on "Gates of heaven". I think my own standards are way below some of the brilliant phtographers posting here. Spending time here is likely to improve your technique - look and learn as they say!
