Rona. I am sorry to hear that. I think the person that offended you was the same person that offended me...actually on the same day. I have been attacked by rude commenters about 4 times now on here...and I won't stand for it. Yes I get hurt, yes I have a cry. But then I think to myself. Am I going to let them beat me....and I going to lower myself to their pitiful level...NOOOOOOOO!! I will stand proud in what I do and not let them win.

Judi, I was reading the forums about the abuse from some users and saw your comment so I checked it out. I love what yu put in the about. Oh man! I wish I had that last week. Someone was rather rude to me on a post and several came to my defense and to me it got out of hand but it's over now and I am learning how to deal with people like that. It isn't easy but I will not stop doing what I love to do because of that. I am on a dry spell right now but I will be back.
I did remove the image and the comment was not even about the image itself. But I removed it because I did not want to see it and be reminded of it when I am here. Therefore it is in the past and I will keep learning.

Hey Jud.... such a beautiful thing for you to do... but then it doesn't surprise me that you were the one doing this..... YOU are a beautiful person..... i really think the only way to stop this harrasment is if your not a donor you can't comment... there a way too many non-donor's on this site, i feel if they don't want to donate they can look but not post or comment..... it's the only way to keep track of things.....

Yes...that came from adjusting the curves. There was a slight pink in some parts of the sky and that was probably enhanced more when I adjusted it.
I liked the unusual look of it, so left it.

But I figure...why should I let them beat me..and also why should I stoop to their level by retaliating. I know I retaliated once and felt very bad for it. SO NO MORE!!! If these people would just go and get a life, everybody would be happier.
But for now...we have to stick together and beat this. And I know we will.

Thankyou so much Pete. You gave me a chuckle. You see, I did try many attempts at cropping the base off to follow the rule of thirds with the horizon. But it just looked....well...plain boring. Like so many other skiing images already out there and I wanted something different. Oops..I didn't mean for it to sound like the other skiing images are boring...far from it...but I wanted something unique. Hmmm...!! Anyway, so I went for the large expanse of water and gave the area space to suit the mood of the image.
Hope that makes sense...LOL!!

Hi Judy, you certainly have a way with words!! The photo has good impact, but would have not put the horizon in the center of the frame. Bringing the horizon closer to the bottom would also have put the skier in a better composition.
