This is about as pretty a picture of the falls as I have ever seen, Larry. Great job composing it and on the exposure. The blue is truly spectacular.

Thanks for looking Cagatory, this actually is Niagara River that flows over the falls and later into Lake Ontario I think. The cloud like you see is actually the mist from the water falling, it rises above too and can be seen from miles away.

Appreciate the comment MaLuisa, it really falls into "Deep Blue" catagory doesn't it? Was from either our hotel, or the Skylon tower, its been , hmmm, maybe two years since we were there.

The wooden walkways are built new each spring Mark. It would be impossible to maintain them through winter and the freezing of the falls and area, would just break up. They are torn out at the end of each tourist season.

Yes I agree, this angle is seen maybe most often but the pure blue of the waters both above and below caught me up in it.

Dear Larry,
This place looks great!
I liked the sea (lake) colors behind / front of waterfall.
Is there a cloud what I see in front of waterfall ?
Congratulations my friend and thank you for sharing this photo with us.
