Vous avez toujours de belles photos, et, en médaillon, je croyais que celle-ci était un terril; très belle abstraction. drilan

Hi Peter,
thanks a lot for the additional information. seems to be an interesting alternative to standard macro designs - and a good way to bring out special pictures of the digital babies ;-)
take care, thilo

Hi Thilo,
I used 2 Cokin adaptorrings (P-type, 52 and 58mm threads) and glued them against eachother backwards.. first the kitlens, then the rings, then the 50mm 1.8 reversed.. worked allright like this. Now i have to practise the technique to make good shots (no autofocus, and DOF is only some mm..)..vignetting is another problem, but that can be tackled !
Thanks for looking ! Peter

Very nice, you could also try spraying a few droplets of water onto the feather to give it added interest.

This is a very good first macro-shot. I know how difficult it is to make good macro-photo's but this is a real perfect one. Go on, I'm lookinf forward to it just as your nature-photo's. Good luck, regards, Femke

A most striking image. Could be ploughed fields on the hillside, a reflection, a feather... AJ

Fantastic macro! The thumbnail seemed to me to be a photo of sanddunes. Excellent details, clarity and high contrast tones. I agree with your choice of B/W for this image.

Good shot Peter, Reverse lens's work very well, and yours did a great job here. Almost looks like distant mountains. Very interesting. jimc

Great feather (it is a feather right?). This really suits black and white as the lines make for a strong statement within the image. Colour would be a distraction I think. Excellent!
