Paul, I am not a fan of such cropping of the personal face -- perhaps because I am an existentialist I want the natural reality to experience as a wholeness -- not a part -- whenever I am given such a radical cropping it distracts me from experiencing the subject and makes me think and feel the manipulation of the photographer. Although one eye is still a window to her soul, my hert wants to be gifted with her whole face.
