this white horse is amazing
i am honored by your comment, it was my first attempt with arabian horses, and now i know how difficult to have good images of them, also the environment was difficult because of the small feild and they never leave the horse by herself :)

Striking action shot. The way you've captured the dirt rising in the air is perfect. What a beautiful subject. I like how you kept the composition together in the midst of a seemingly frantic action.

hello.. I see one great photo and a great "council" of James.. the great choice of FEATURED COMMENT deserved it, but also is a photo that it wants more!!
but I believe also that great photo prorpio for the "movement" is one.. an arrogant use of the zone of "focus" for the attention of the visitor. the horse has a moment of game and "fear".. excellent composition!
best wishes, roby

I agree with James, the dark horse is more distracting. Cropping it off would put the attention to the white horse where it belongs.

I am no specialist in horses

But I really like your capture and I think it is perfect and more the movement on feet ads more dramatic too picture also the dark horse in background is giving more motion and live to picture, it start to be a storyteller and it is how best picture on market are,
best regards icerock

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Beautiful Arabian! That long delicate head and face is such a classic marker on the Arabians. Simply gorgeous!

I think you could have gone in two possible directions with this one. If you had picked your shutter speed up a bit you could have stopped her feet and had a really dramatic image of power. Had you gone the other way, you would have blurred the feet even more and brought out a sense of motion. This might have been a better choice because of the dust surrounding the feet. The only other suggestion would be to crop out the darker horse. Although it is in the background, I still find it to be a bit distracting.

It's a nice image. I would just offer these suggestions for your consideration.
