I understand what you mean John. The color and detail of the little water drops against the green buds just reels me in and, to me, is forgiving the cut bud. Enjoy this shot...a shot of the same genre you guys might want to look at is Toni Martins shot of a dew drop world....here is the number in case you guys haven't seen it yet.....#5290

Thanks for the nice comments. I agree, John, the piece of a the flower bud on the left is unpleasantly out of focus. I don't want to crop it, however, because I think the off-center composition works well for this photo. No artificial lighting was used. One thing that I find interesting about this photo is how the near-parallel sharp lines of the buds intersect the blurry lines of the leaves in the background, which are similar in size and shape to the buds.

I like the background out of focus but not the stem on the far left. I wish that stem had been held out of the picture and the shot were made vertical to include all of the middle stem which is currently cut off. The lighting on the other hand is fantastic and the droplets are sensational. How did you light this photo Dmitriy?

Love the DOF and colors. Love the droplets. Only thing..I wish there was more of the front stem in the picture? Or I guess you might say the second stem..

Nice detail and color. What bugs you about the foreground John?

Love the colours your getting and the dramatic forms, but the foreground is bugging me. What a pain in the ass I am. I only complain because I can see so much potential here. Don't forget to tell us what you shot it with. We care about these things.
